Shawkat Anwar CourtesyHe was laid to rest in his family graveyard in AzimpurFormer Managing Director of Squibb Bangladesh, Shawkat Anwar has passed away on Friday. He lived a long, healthy life and breathed his last at the age of 78 at his own residence in Gulshan. He was the son of late Dr SA Laskar of Sylhet. Shawkat Anwar was buried in his family graveyard in Azimpur on Saturday. He left behind his loving wife, Yasmin Anwar, a son, two daughters, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
