A group of former Community Trust of Southland trustees has finally succeeded in organising a meeting with a government minister to outline their concerns over the treatment of John Prendergast. The delegation of former trustees will meet with the Minister of Finance Grant Robertson in Wellington on Friday. If there were personal agendas afoot, the chief executive and community should not be victims of it, the letter said. Prendergast, speaking on Wednesday, said he was happy the minister was meeting with the former trustees on Friday.
