As a Yankee fan, I was pretty disappointed when the Red Sox announced their offerings to fans last season in conjunction with Boston’s Commonwealth Hotel, far outpacing the Yankees’ own arrangements with the team’s partner, the Lotte New York Palace. And this year it seems they’re doing it again, this time when the historic rivals play each other in a special series in London on June 29th and 30th that sold out quickly after it was announced. For the game in London Stadium, the Red Sox will be designated the home team and they’re taking that seriously by offering a special package that will take in other special events apart from the game. The one thing, of course, that this package can’t promise, though, is that the Red Sox will win.
