The live-action film will place the animated Sonic in the real world, and is set to debut November 8th. Sonic the Hedgehog is the main character in the Sonic the Hedgehog series of games (produced by Sega). Sonic the FilmThe Sonic film is an American-Japanese joint venture, distributed by Paramount Pictures. On October 2nd, 2017 Paramount Pictures had acquired the film's rights with little upheaval or change in the existing production plans. In the meantime, catch Sonic the Hedgehog in theaters November 8th!
