Football fans have been left raging now that the full list of kick-off times that have been moved to accommodate TV coverage has been announced. The new EFL season starts tonight, August 9, with Blackburn Rovers welcoming Derby County and Sheffield United heading to Preston North End in Championship clashes that will be broadcast live on Sky Sports. This follows the recent deal between the EFL and Sky which runs until 2029, promising more televised EFL matches than before. And last week, the EFL announced the games that would be moved for TV from October 1 to January 6. A post on X read: "EFL and @SkyFootball have confirmed all broadcast-selected Sky Bet EFL matches for the period up to the FA Cup third round, the weekend of 11/12 January 2025."
