Robyn Edie/Stuff Michelle Horwood is a volunteer worker at the South Coast Environment Society's centre in Riverton. New residents in Riverton often became involved with the society and food forests, Robyn said. Robyn was surprised 57 attended and it led to the Riverton Organic Group being formed in 1988. Eight years later the group set up the South Coast Environment Society.
