The crash happened about 1.40pm on the Appleby Highway (State Highway 60), near the intersection of Swamp Rd. A police spokeswoman said two vehicles were involved, a car and a van. A St John spokesman said two people were taken by ambulance to Nelson Hospital with moderate injuries.
