A drugs runner was caught with Coke cans that had been specially-adapted so they could be used to stash heroin and crack cocaine. The defendant, who was there with another man, saw uniformed officers called to the park as back-up and tried to walk away. The drugs were stashed in his sock and in Coke cans, which had been weighted to ‘give the impression it was a legitimate can of coke’. In total, he had around 30 individual wraps of heroin and seven wraps of crack cocaine, worth an estimated £760. Beraki, of Druce Way, Oxford, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possession of criminal property and possession of cannabis for personal use.
