A car smashes through the fence of Chisnallwood Intermediate School as the driver flees police on Friday afternoon. A man has been charged after allegedly fleeing from police and racing through school grounds in east Christchurch. Chisnallwood Intermediate School, on Breezes Rd, went into lockdown for about 30 minutes at lunchtime on Friday. The fleeing driver then continued on to the Eastgate Mall in Linwood, before abandoning the vehicle and running away. STUFF Chisnallwood Intermediate School was in lockdown after a man fleeing police drove through the grounds during lunchtime.
