KHULNA, Feb 10, 2024 (BSS) - Five people, including two women, died and twoothers were injured in a collision between a brick-laden truck and a three-wheeler easy bike in Dumuria upazila of Khulna on Saturday afternoon. The deceased were Easy bike driver Biswajit Biswas, 30, passengers SabbirMoral, 23, Nipa Dali, 25, his mother-in-law Amori Rani Dhali, 55, and sister-in-law Nipa Dhali, four-year-old Onni Biswas, hailing from several areas ofthe upazila. The accident occurred at around 3:30pm when the vehicles collided head-on inAngardoha village in Kharniya union of the upazila, leaving two dead on thespot and five others critically injured. The other three were taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) whereduty doctors declared minor child Onni Biswas dead. Police already seized the truck, OC said, adding the truck driver managed toflee away.
