more-inA nearly five-foot-long cobra was rescued on Wednesday by the Wildlife SOS rapid response unit from inside the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) branch near Dilli Haat in Pitampura. “I was shocked to see the cobra inside my office. Since I am familiar with Wildlife SOS, I immediately contacted their team for help,” said Assistant Engineer Deepak Kumar Saxena. After ensuring that everyone was at a safe distance from the agitated snake, the team successfully extricated the cobra and carefully transferred it into a safe transport container. We request people not to handle wild animals or reptiles themselves as they can be dangerous, especially in cases involving venomous reptiles.”
