I told him I'm looking for jobs in the $85-$90k range which is average for people with backgrounds like mine. I know I am underpaid at seventy-five thousand per year. Seventy-five thousand is practically an entry-level salary for the kind of work I do. I told Mike if my salary requirement would be a stretch for his client there would be no point in going any further. Who are these employers who have money to pay headhunting commissions but not enough money to pay their new hires fairly?
