Fishing on a boat near Wellington ended in a major medical event for one young man. But thanks to swift action from Life Flight's Westpac rescue helicopter crew, he is now in a stable condition at Wellington Hospital. Earlier on Thursday, it was determined the man required urgent care after a call from a fishing boat. SUPPLIED A Wellington Free intensive care paramedic was winched down to a boat to stabilise a man before both were winched back into the helicopter by the Life Flight team.
