Flights at Sydney Airport delayed due to gusty windsDALLAS KILPONEN/FAIRFAX NZ High winds are causing problems at Sydney Airport. Up to 70 flights have been cancelled in and out of Sydney Airport, Australi, as strong winds buffet the runways. A Sydney Airport spokeswoman said planes were restricted to using only one runway due to the gusty conditions on Thursday. The strong winds are also hampering efforts by firefighters attending to an out-of-control fire that is burning at Summercloud Bay, near Jervis Bay, on the state's South Coast. Sydney Airport hit 35.3 degrees and Bankstown 35 degrees.
