DAGUPAN CITY —— A fisherman was found dead on Thursday night along Lingayen town’s Agno River in Pangasinan province, police said on Friday. Mario Zacarias, 59, drowned when he fell into the river after an asthma attack, police said. Police said Zacarias’ wife began to worry and informed their relatives when her husband failed to return home on Thursday afternoon. At 6 p.m., Zacarias’ body was found floating on a lagoon along the Agno River. Police said an autopsy would be performed on Zacarias’ body to verify the cause of his death.
