KARACHI: The first group of master’s degree students on Monday graduated from the U.S- Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro. These graduates are the first group of graduating students who also participated in an exchange program with students and professors from the University of Utah, a program supported by the U.S. Government. The graduates also received scholarships from the United States Government. Vice Chancellor of MUET, Dr Muhammad Aslam Uqaili, expressed his appreciation for USAID support and thanked the people of the United States for supporting education and health projects in the province. The U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water at Mehran University is one of four new research centers the United States Government has built and continues to support.
