Feyisayo PopoolaThe Poise Graduate Finishing Academy has organised an employability training tagged: Career KickStart, to help disadvantaged youths to become competitively employable in the job market. According to the Managing Director, PGFA, Mr. Asher Adeniyi, the beneficiaries of the career training are university graduates who lack employable skills and cannot self-sponsor themselves for the programme. Adeniyi stated that between 2016 and 2017, a total of 528 unemployed graduates in Lagos and Edo states had been sponsored by Oxfam to be trained under the Career KickStart programme. He said over 50 per cent of the graduates had gained employment, while others were currently been connected with several job opportunities. “The Career Kickstart is a three-week intensive employability training programme.
