Samson FolarinThe Federal Road Safety Corps has asked motorists to pay attention to their mental health in order to reduce road crashes in the country. The Ogun State Sector Commander of the FRSC, Clement Oladele, said the mental condition of motorists determined safety on roads. Oladele spoke at the 12th Annual Road Safety/Walk/Road Show of the Temidayo Ogan Child Safety and Support Foundation (TOCSS), a statement said on Tuesday. He noted that the safety walk, tagged, ‘Safer Mental Health, Safer Roads’, was in line with the United Nations Decade of Action Plan to halt road fatalities. “Every road user requires 100 per cent mental health to avoid crashes,” she said.
