Emergency services were called to a small fire in a lounge of a house in Albert St on Tuesday night. A fire inspector is investigating a suspicious fire in the lounge of a central Palmerston North house. Emergency services were called to a small paper fire in the lounge of a house on Albert St, between Broadway Ave and Grey St, about 9.45pm on Tuesday, a Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said. There was no structural damage, but it was being looked at by the fire inspector, he said. Firefighters were at the house for about 30 minutes.
