Four fire engines had been in attendance at the house fire on Rossiter Ave, between Sturrocks Rd and Barnes Rd in Redwood. Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) spokeswoman Lyn Crosson said FENZ started receiving multiple calls about the fire just after 10.05pm on Saturday. Crosson earlier said there would be significant damage to the property.
