An automotive repair garage is on fire in the Wellington suburb of Northland. Five fire trucks and crew battled a commercial garage fire in the Wellington suburb of Northland on Saturday. A Fire and Emergency New Zealand central communications shift manager said the building, a commercial garage workshop, was on fire when crews arrived. She said the fire covered an area of about 10 metres by 25 metres but it had since been extinguished. Police are also in attendance and a section of Northland Rd and Randwick Rd will be closed for about an hour.
