According to Robertson, area head of World Vision Bangladesh, security guards at the office in Shyamnagar heard a spark around 2am followed by a loud bang. When the guards rushed to the source of the noise, they saw the office engulfed by a fire. The fire has burned down a microbus, 23 motorcycles, two bicycles, and office equipment, with damages totaling over Tk1.5 crore. Robertson said World Vision has dispatched a team to investigate the fire.
