Egypt’s Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk said the ministry is seeking to deepen cooperation with the Mostakbal Misr for Sustainable Development Authority across activities that support and accelerate national economic growth. Kouchouk said the partnership will focus on implementing development projects capable of generating sustainable employment opportunities, while promoting broader private sector participation across key investment sectors. Discussions covered several priority areas, including supporting economic growth, raising employment levels, and encouraging investments that create sustainable job opportunities for young people. Both sides also explored mechanisms to develop small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and expand private sector participation in development projects, in line with the state’s fiscal policy framework and Egypt Vision 2030 objectives. For his part, El-Ghannam said that enhanced cooperation with the Ministry of Finance represents a key step towards accelerating comprehensive development.
