SCA head stresses navigation in canal is regular

Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Osama Rabie staid navigation in the canal is proceeding regularly and has not been affected by adverse weather conditions. Rabie also stressed that all marine units affiliated with the Authority must adhere to navigation safety measures, particularly during the boarding and disembarking of pilots, as well as routine maritime operations. Additionally, preparedness levels of the Authority’s hospitals and medical centers, as well as ambulance and firefighting services have also been heightened. The SCA chief also directed maintaining ongoing communication and coordination with the operations rooms of the canal cities to provide necessary support in emergency situations. Rabie further said services for transporting citizens between the two banks of the canal continue through ferries, bridges and tunnels operated by the Authority, in accordance with maritime safety regulations and in full coordination with navigation offices in the three canal cities.
