It is just five days until the South Island's biggest library opens in central Christchurch. DAVID WALKER/STUFF Workers are putting the last touches to Tūranga, Christchurch's new central library. Hundreds were expected to visit on Friday following its grand opening, with staff leading a series of tours to show people what was on offer. "Everything is good and going well, and we're just doing the final little touches and finishing points for the building. The touchscreen is "tried, tested and ready to go", and staff were doing "one final push" ahead of the official opening.
