In a somewhat unbelievable turn of events, Final Fantasy VII and a slew of other classic Final Fantasy games will be released on both the Switch and Xbox One next year. The games in question are Final Fantasy VII, IX, X and X-2 as well as XII. Following that, Square Enix has a bunch of other Final Fantasy games on the way, such as World of Final Fantasy Maxima in November, Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy this Winter, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition next year and let us not forget the fact that Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition is already out. If you are a fan of classic Final Fantasy games, then it looks like Switch and Xbox owners are covered. I only hope we get to see Final Fantasy VI released on these platforms at some point as well.
