While Game Freak is obviously busy with the next few Pokémon games, the studio is also working on a new role-playing game called Town and it looks rather interesting. What’s curious about this setup is that the entire game is apparently set around this village and doesn’t have the typical world traversal seen in other role-playing games. Many people find the expansive worlds present in role-playing games to be rather daunting, so maybe Town will cater to that. Currently, there is no news on when the game will be released, bar sometime next year. In the meantime, I will be keeping an eye on this one, as Game Freak doesn’t have a habit of letting us down.
