Filipina household worker executed for murder in Saudi ArabiaSAUDI Arabia executed a Filipina household worker guilty of murder, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Thursday. In a statement, the DFA extends its condolences to the family of the unnamed Filipina whose sentence,Ambassador Adnan Alonto said, was carried out on Tuesday. The DFA declined media queries to identify her. “I’m sorry we cannot release additional details on the request of her next of kin,” said Assistant Secretary Elmer Cato. Alonto said the Philippine embassy also provided her with a lawyer to assist her in all stages of her trial, sent representatives to visit her, and provided her family in the Philippines with regular updates about her case.
