Since 1972 I have organized and led the African People’s Socialist Party and the Uhuru Movement, a worldwide organization fighting for the self-determination of African people everywhere. In 1983 The Burning Spear newspaper published an article covering how we won the Irish Republican Socialist Party to support our demand for Reparations. The U.S. government and the FBI’s attacks on the Uhuru Movement did not begin in 2022. Can we explain the attacks on the Uhuru Movement by this original sin?
