OTTAWA, ON, Jan. 8, 2023 /CNW/ - The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, today issued the following statement on the National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Air Disasters:"Air disasters have claimed the lives of far too many Canadians. "On this solemn occasion, we remember the victims of all air disasters, including Air Ontario Flight 1363, Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 (Flight ET302), Air India Flight 182, and Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 (Flight PS752). "We continue to support the families and loved ones of the victims of tragic air disasters. We are working to provide 176 scholarships, averaging $25,000 each, in memory of the victims of Flight PS752. "As we honour the victims of air disasters, we stand with families, friends, and all those who have lost loved ones to these tragedies.
