Fiesta brand of condoms valued at Sh10m that failed quality tests have been destroyed under the supervision of Pharmacy and Poisons Board. The board said the recall of the affected batches of the fiesta condoms was concluded on March 11. In a statement on Friday, the board said the drug inspector’s supervised the destruction of recalled Fiesta condoms which were valued at Sh10 million. The Pharmacy and Poisons Board also called upon the public to be vigilant and report any suspected poor quality medicines and suspected drug reactions. It also asked health workers, health establishments including chemists and pharmacies to report the same.
