A festival that clashes with Bay Dreams is “likely” to change dates for its Marlborough event after concerns were raised by emergency services about stretched resources. A sold out Bay Dreams would see 25,000 people attend in Nelson, while 10,000 tickets were made available for Golden Sounds in Blenheim. Golden Sounds organiser Hamish Pinkham said the Blenheim event was still “working through” details with local providers, but it was “looking likely” the date would change.
