Willie Mullins has decided to keep the exciting Ferny Hollow wrapped in cotton wool until next season. Photo: SportsfileThere are very few with better form in the book than Ferny Hollow, but Willie Mullins’ exciting hurdler will not race again until next season as he continues his recovery from injury. Bob Olinger chased him home last November at Gowran Park and given his dominant victory in last week’s Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle, hopes are high that Ferny Hollow could scale similar heights when fit to return. “The form is looking rock solid now, and Ferny Hollow looks a good sort. We’ll wait for next season,” Mullins said.
