Arachnologist Dr Robert Raven from the Queensland Museum, said the Russian tent spider is renowed for their 'spectacular' webs. 'It's a spectacular circular web with the centre lifted, resembling a Russian tent dome'. The Russian Tent spider is completely harmless and has no confirmed bites to humans.
