Fazle Mahmud scored 149, the highest innings of this year’s tournament to help Brothers Union to 330/2, but that was not enough as Prime Bank Cricket Club made 331/5 in 48.5 overs to win the match at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. Brothers lost their skipper Junaid Siddique early but opener Mizanur Rahman, who made 100 off 109 balls, added 193 for the second wicket to lay a solid platform. But the 35-year old Alok proved that experience matters as he navigated his side home with a brilliant 82-run innings that came of just 65 balls.
