A father and his four-year-old daughter have been found dead after going missing from a hike in Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area in Milton Sunday evening. Halton police were called about the missing pair at around 7:30 after they failed to return from a hike in the area known for its cliffs and caves earlier that day. “Given the weather conditions and challenging terrain, the Halton Regional Police Service deployed significant resources,” they said, which included officers from all three of their districts as well as their canine unit. The bodies were found on site shortly after 11:00 p.m.“Next of kin has been notified, and the investigation is ongoing at this time,” police wrote in a release to media.
