KUALA LUMPUR: A father to a student who died in the Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah tahfiz school blaze said he could have lost two sons in the tragedy had another one of his sons resumed his studies at the school. Datuk Nik Azlan Nik Abd Kamal, 68, said his other son, Nik Mohd Imran, 10, refused to return to the school in July. Nik Mohd Imran and his late brother Nik Muhammad Ridzuan, 12, joined the school a year and a half ago. Nik Azlan said he accepted the fate that Nik Muhammad was one of the 23 people killed in the fire on Thursday. Nik Muhammad had requested to see his father again on Sunday.
