A 6-year-old boy has died and three others were injured when a ute crashed down a bank in the rural lower North Island. It had been travelling on Turakina Valley Rd, between Kauaekeke Rd and Bald Hill Rd, in Rangitīkei, a police spokesperson said. Three people were taken to Whanganui Hospital by road, and one person was winched from the scene by helicopter and flown to the hospital.
