Farming investment firm cleared by SEC – The Manila Times

BATANGAS CITY: DV Boer Farm International Corp. has been cleared by the Securities and Exchange and Commission (SEC) to sell farming investment contracts, lifting its investor warning against the company. DV Boer Farm has already paid P300,000, with the balance of P2.715 million to be paid within the next three months. Meanwhile, the farming investment firm has filed formal charges before the Department of Justice branch of this city against former legal adviser and now Magsasaka party-list Rep. Argel Joseph Cabatbat, former operations vice president Krizza Joy Peracho and former DV Boer operations director Abraham Aguilar last month. “The crime was committed sometime in January 2020 when the respondents illegally took company-owned assets, which include company-issued cell phones worth P70,000 each and laptops amounting to P75,000 per unit. DV Boer Farm remains committed to its principles and advocacy to uplift the lives of farmers and fishermen and bring Philippine agribusiness to global standards.
