Pesticide control will be stepped up with new inspectionsScottish farmers are being urged to be prepared for upcoming pesticide enforcement officer visits this month. NFU Scotland’s Environmental Resources Policy Manager Sarah Cowie said: "In November, pesticide enforcement officers (PEOs) will begin an initial phase of farm visits. "And the next step now involves inspection visits to check how well PPP users are complying with the law. But unfortunately, there are unlikely to be any major changes ahead of the initial phase of inspections. If you have registered as a PPP user, you will not be targeted for inspection in this initial phase of farm visits.
