Bidhan did not show up in court despite a court order issued on Dec 12, 2017, said Deputy Attorney General Farhad Ahmad. Two other officials -- Dhaka airport OC Nur-e-Azam Mia and Sub-Inspector Sukanta Saha – were also summoned. Azmat Rahman, a director of Farmers Bank and managing director of garment maker Azmat Group of Industries, was allowed to go home after a verbal order by Bidhan. The High Court issued a rule on Dec 12 after Deputy Attorney General Farhad Ahmad brought the news to the court’s attention. The judges asked Nur-e-Azam Mia, Sukanta Saha and Bidhan Tripura to appear in court and explain why Azmat was not produced despite a general diary filed against him.
