US passport holder Mark Rumam Kutrobskir was detained late Monday from the boarding lounge where he was waiting to board a China Southern Airline flight, said Customs Intelligence chief Moinul Khan. “The drone has nine cameras. He told us that he has taken photographs and shot videos in parts of Bangladesh.”The 22-year-old arrived in Dhaka on Jan 26 by an Emirates Airways flight and did not declare the drone, according to Khan. He was supposed to catch a flight for the US via China’s Guangzhou early Tuesday. Kutrobskir was detained as he violated the import-control law by bringing in a drone without proper clearances, said Khan, head of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate.
