Mofazzal Hossain, member of ward number 7 under Shahbajpur union informed that, Jahangir had gone to cut grass at the Telkupi border on the Bangladesh side on Saturday. He said: “BSF members of Gopalnagar shot him at 9am, killing him on the spot. The deceased’s family and locals then recovered the dead body.”Commander of BGB 59 Leut Col Mahmudul Hasan said: “We have come to know about the incident. We will strongly protest against this incident to BSF after proper investigation.”
