Nigel Farage was facing questions last night after it emerged he is sharing a London house with a female French politician who heads a think tank found to have funnelled improper donations to Ukip, the party he used to lead. Farage confirmed that Laure Ferrari, who heads the Institute for Direct Democracy in Europe (IDDE), is staying with him at a £4m house in Chelsea. He told The Mail on Sunday the arrangement was temporary because Ferrari, 37, who once worked as his parliamentary aide, had nowhere else to go.
