The move comes just weeks after FanDuel’s auditors Deloitte warned that the firm’s continuing legal battles in America cast “significant doubt” on its future. FanDuel marketing director Karol Corcoran said: “Our focus will be on the English Premier League to start with but we aim to expand with The Edinburgh firm, which until now has focused exclusively on the US sports market, said it intends to be up and running for the start of the 2016-17 football season.
