Diamond performing during Simba Day [Photo: Courtesy]On Saturday, thousands of Tanzanians gathered at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium in Dar es Salaam to witness as the Mainland Tanzania Premier League champs, Simba Sports Club ushered in their 2020-2021 squad. Numerous celebrities were in attendance including the Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) boss Diamond Platnumz and other notable musicians who moved the massive crowd with their breathtaking performances. However, what seems to have started out as an amazing concert almost turned tragic after Diamond was attacked by a fan while on stage. Despite the altercation, Diamond delivered a performance that many will live to remember. The unidentified man hurriedly jumped back into the crowd before Harmonize security could get to him and disappeared.
