Many enterprises and organisations already face difficulties in getting graduates equipped with the relevant skills to meet their ever-shifting market needs. The market needs ‘relevant skills’, which many universities do not always teach. In their article, “How to create productive partnership with universities”, Markus Permann and Ammon Salter say that universities and industries should recognise the mutual benefits of collaboration. Without drastic reforms, the CBC and the COVID 19 could make the universities irrelevant.
