New details have emerged as to why a man travelled from his Kuria home to Kisii and allegedly killed a student alleged to have been his girlfriend. The suspect was arrested over the murder of Boke after being saved by police from an irate mob. The family of the woman claimed the man was angered he could not marry their kin because they were relatives. This angered the man who allegedly trailed the woman to Kisii where she was studying at the Kisii National Polytechnic and allegedly killed her. The family of the suspect is demanding the body while that of Boke says the two were not married to warrant that.
