The group included 24 mainland Chinese from Liaoning province, one Taiwanese driver and one Taiwanese tour guide. According to the Mainland Affairs Council (MAC, 陸委會), 49 family members and 21 mainland officials from Dalian were received by Taiwanese officials after arriving at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport at around 4 p.m. An autopsy of Taiwanese driver Su Ming-cheng (蘇明成) Wednesday showed he lost consciousness due to inhaling an excess of carbon monoxide. The families of victims of the tour bus incident offered their DNA samples to investigators before leaving Taoyuan Airport to help identify the remains of relatives.
