MIRI: A family of 11, including two small children, managed to escape a fire that broke out in their house while they were sleeping at around 2am Saturday (May 18). They managed to run out of their house in Kpg Luak Miri here as flames engulfed the structure. Miri Fire and Rescue Department chief Supt Law Poh Kiong said the members of the household were aged from three to 62. The three-year-old girl, an eight-year-old boy and three teenagers were among the 11 who escaped the burning house, he said. "All the 11 managed to escape on their own," he said.
